We are trying to keep everyone safe and in school with all in-person learning, as well as doing our best to not to have to require wearing of face masks. Good Afternoon, this message is to notify everyone that the building construction issue in the old building has not been completed as planned. The contractor has informed us that the project will be completed on Wednesday, October 13th. Thus, students in grades 5-8 will continue with online learning for these three days. Grades 5-8 students will return to the school for in person learning on Thursday, October 14th. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If questions, please contact the school office. Good afternoon, due to a constructional repair in the original building, which is being worked on at the present moment, students in grades 5-8 will be doing distance learning for the next three days for October 6 thru 8th. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this issue was unforeseen. Grades 5-8 students are expected to be online with their teachers from 8 am to 3 pm each of these days. All students in grades PreK thru 4th grade, except for Mrs Haberman's class, will be in regular session within the school building. Good Afternoon: this message is to notify everyone that RLB School will be continuing with our mask mandate for all students and staff thru October 11th, 2021 when we will re-assess our situation based upon Nobles County Covid counts and the number of cases in our building while following MDH and CDC recommendations. Please understand that no one wants to wear masks, but to address everyone's' safety and to have all in person learning, we feel that this is best for all. Our students and staff have been doing an excellent job of wearing their masks. Unfortunately, we did have our first two cases of Covid in the building yesterday, which all families have been notified if their child had been exposed. It's imperative that if someone in your home is sick or has symptoms that you keep your child home until their is a negative test, and that you communicate with the school if their is a positive case in your home. Your cooperation with this will dictate if we will need to continue wearing masks in the future and our ability to continue with all in-person learning, which is our goal. Thanks for your time, and support. Have a good evening.
