I graduated from Iowa State University in 1981 with a BS degree in Industrial Education along with a coaching license. I landed my first teaching job with the Sioux Valley-Round Lake School Districts in 1981 and have been a part of the RL-B District ever since. I teach a variety of subjects in Industrial Tech and Art. I also am the Activities Director for the school districts of Round Lake-Brewster and Southwest Star Concept or better known as the Southwestern United Wildcats. I also coach the Wildcats boys varsity basketball team. I have been married to my wonderful wife Martha for 27 years. She is a dental hygienist and works in Worthington. We have 3 children, 2 daughters and 1 son. Molly is the oldest. She has graduated college from SDSU in Brookings. She graduated with a majors in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as earned a FACS Education degree in the spring of 2012.She is teaching FACS at Okbojoi Schools in Milford Iowa.. Lon David is a senior in college at Dakota State University, Madison South Dakota. He received his AA degree upon graduation from MN. West. He is continuing his education with the goal to become a Elementary Education & Health teacher along with coaching. He has completed his classes at the college and will begin student teaching @ Worthington Prairie Elementary at the end of January. He also continues as the Brewster-Round Lake summer recreation baseball coach. Mara graduated from high school May 20, 2011. She is enrolled in classes @ Minnesota West Community and Technial College, Worthington Campus and will finish up two quick years @ MN West this May. She played volleyball and is currently playing basketball for the Lady Jays. She is undecided on her major, but may be leaning towards an Education degree as well. . I find the most enjoyable things to do are to spend time with my wife and children. Martha and I get great satisfaction watching & supporting our children as they grow and continue their education to achieve their career goals.
