DARE Graduation

DARE graduation was held in Brewster Thursday, April 3, for RL/B and WALA 5th graders. DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a highly acclaimed program designed to give kids the tools they need to resist peer pressure and live drug and violence-free lives. The ceremony concluded weekly sessions led by Detective Jay Clarke, DARE officer. Speakers at the graduation included Judge Jeffrey Flynn, Sheriff Kent Wilkening and Superintendent John Cseloveszki. Chase, Nobles County law enforcement canine was also in attendance. Four students were selected to read their required essays and certificates were presented to each of the students. Cake and juice were served to students and parents. Congratulations to all the DARE graduates!
